After update 17, I found that my livery for 2014 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon in FH5 can be put into FM8. But that car is neither mentioned in the release note nor available in the autoshow.

We don’t know yet. Might be it got overlooked in the notes and becomes available in week 2 (Luxury & Horsepower).

Neither does Turn 10, apparently. Where’s the single-player content we were promised? Now they can’t deliver a single car?
They should start telling the truth instead of trying to dress things up. Things might work out better for them in the long run.

I’ve been wanting an explanation for why this game turned out the way it is. I’ve been wanting that for more than a year now. I want them to either refute strongly what we on the outside have been seeing and stand on that, or acknowledge that our eyes don’t deceive us and this game has problems. If they don’t have the people or funding, they need to say so. If adding the missing single-player content back in is going to balloon the game to Warzone levels of storage requirements, they need to say so. If they are indeed working on a soft or hard reset of the entire game, they need to say so. They need to be upfront about what’s happened and where things are going, and not hiding behind vague blanket statements like:
As we’ve been working through all this new content, we’ve also been continuing to look towards future updates. This means that our work on some of the features we previously announced for early 2025 may be re-evaluated as we complete our new plans. Until then over the next three months our updates will be new content only. That was a very difficult decision, however we are excited to continue to bring new content and experiences to you.
What do I want to hear? I want to hear them treating me like an adult. How about that?

you are right, their policy of permanent vagueness is becoming frankly cumbersome…
I agree that they need to be upfront on what they are doing and where they are planning to go. Good luck on the rest of what you are looking for. To get those answers, your last name needs to be Spencer or Nadella.
Agree’d. Their campaign slogan is “built from the ground up” and they’re sticking to it. Their market strategy for this game was unsuccessful from the title onwards. How we have the most unfinished game in the history of the franchise is a mystery. There are a lot of people with a lot of questions, and hopefully we’ll get our answers eventually after this game dies.
I know one thing is for sure, things like “taking our time for the next project so we can deliver a better experience” or “built from the ground up” are things I’m never falling for again if they decide they’re going to take another 6 years making a game.
I’ve said it a gadjillion times, we just need to wait out the storm. The passion will return one way or another.
