What’s up guys. I finally got my XB1, so I can get back into Forza. Been out for a while. Back in the days of FM3 and FM4 there was a huge grassroots community. I remember one in particular called BNB. You started with $25,000 to spend how you wanted and each week earned an extra $6,000 for coming to the meetings. You could also win money in competitions. It was awesome. I wasn’t sure if there was anything out there on FM5 yet, or if the community is just that dead (which it totally seems). Thanks, guys.

I don’t do anything drift-related, but in FM5, there’s no way to transfer any in-game credits between accounts, so that part of what you mention can never happen. As for the rest, I have no clue what shape the Forza 5 drifting community is in. However, the non-drifting Forza 5 community is alive and kicking between racing and livery designing.
Sweedish, the BNB didnt send “credits” or anything to users on forza. It was a bank based on a “Honour” system via a forum. You used your ingame credits, but cars specifically for use on the BNB, you could only spend the credits you had in your BNB forum bank.
Ok, I understand. It just made more sense to me personally to have used in-game credits distributed by means of the auction house. I wasn’t aware how complex the system you used was. My bad.
I love this idea and we should start doing this in public lobbies and spread the word. we should also do weekly posts on this thread, or a new one, about the progress of our cars (type of car, upgrades, body kits, wheels, paint/ stickers). This would be a very fun thing to do and i’m going to start right now!
well now that we dont have the free car builds, you can do it just like we used to when we ran grassroots back in FM2. just give a start of 35k, build a car, and compete in different events to earn money. i think you earned like 1k a day or something. its been far too long since we did that

If people are willing to do it again that would be awesome. I’m super busy IRL and can only get on once in a while, so this isn’t something I could run. Please take this idea and run with it. Maybe this is something that can bring the community together again. If this gains any popularity, we should make an official thread dedicated just to this. Hopefully we can get everybody on board!

I’m thinking start with 35 or 40,000 because 25,000 is a little low. then make race diff free and call it a welded diff.
i remember it being sports everything except coilovers, and the diff, but only if you set the diff to 100% on accel and decel. and in order to get race parts, you had to win competitions and what not. but that was also when me and O9K Chocobo/ID Lizard pretty much ran grassroots. things may have changed during built not bought
It’s called Made Not Manufactured now and is where the majority of the FM4 forum guys reside.

Signed up and started out my car last night. Love the site. You guys have thought of a lot and nailed it all. Just need to get better at actually DRIFTING. Haha.
Nice. I know there are a lot of variants to it, I just remember BNB the most. Like I said before, if someone wants to head this, then definitely do it. I just don’t have the time to start it up. This should be great for the community.
BnB imploded, that is literally BnB under a different name, ran by the DIS boys. It’s where all the guys from the BnB forums are too.
