I dont know if youve been around here, but yea people like race cars as far as I can tell, in fact they keep demanding race cars of things that are identical in race trim compared to the street versions.
People are voting for the bolide because, simply put, its a car from a brand with a lot of hype around it, and a lot of frustrated fans that havent gotten a new car despite their apparent relevence in game since the Divo and T35 in FH4.
people dont know ATS as much, pinninfarina already has a bunch of cars in game but theyre almost all attributed to other brands which get the attention, and the maserati mcxtrema is just a track version of the MC20 which they have been busy begging to be added in to the game already so at this point they might as well keep asking for the base one first then ask for fancy versions.

As a whole, a lot less people know about the track only models too, especially from niche brands, then even more so for a lot of racing only cars. its only when these companies put them on the road do they make headlines for being anything special, that or set records, which is a bit harder to do in racing where everyone wants to do that.
