I was playing a race today in career mode and when im accelerating it sounds as if the the car is changing up and down the gears and making tunes, The tones are all over the place. I thought maybe it was just the car ( BMW M1) so i changed to a different race and car, Its doing exactly the same then with that the view keeps changing like im looking around with the RS but im not even touching it. Ive tried it with a number of cars and it happening with every one im trying. Its totally unplayable has anybody had things like this happen? With the looking around i tried other games to check it wasnt my controller but my controller is working fine. Thanks
As for the camera issue: Is Head Tracking enabled?
If not (and for the sound issue) then try to completely turn off the Xbox One (not Instant-On, hold the power button on the console for several seconds, the light on the power brick should be yellow and not white), boot it up again and see if the problem remains.
People have reported that there might be a memory leak which was the origin of all kinds of suspicious behaviours.
I’ve been having the same issue with the sound and reading your post made me wonder if the head tracking was linked because I have been using it to look in my offside wing mirror. I found this, which is interesting.
Don’t know if this is an issue that affects everyone or only a few. Hopefully it is something that is easily fixable in a patch because I really like the head tracking feature and this ruins it for me somewhat. Anyone else getting audio issues when using head tracking?
Sorry I should have mentioned that I have also shut the XO right down (took the plug out just to be sure) and the issue remains.
