Hi! I experienced a bug in the multiplayer. When I’m in the lobby, it automatically quits Forza Motorsport 5. Turn 10 can you fix it?
I’ve had this happen a couple times and wondered if somebody voted to kick me or it was just a bug. Seems like an awful severe way to kick a player by restarting the game though, so I’m thinking it’s a bug or maybe a scratched disk. Don’t know.
I believe I had the same problem you are experience. I have found that post race when the next track is being selected I will be looking at the other players and their cars. Once the next track is chosen and I scroll back up to my car to change the tune, the Xbox restarts.
My solution, don’t scroll through players when the next track vote occurs, and if you do accidentally, don’t scroll back up to your car. I haven’t had any issues since this.
This bug has been around since day one, but appears to (slowly) be getting better.
It used to happen to me regularly, and completely at random: MP, SP, in a race, in the paint shop, wherever. At some point (maybe around the time Long Beach dropped), it stopped happening in SP. When Nurburgring dropped, it stopped happening during MP races and Rivals.
I still get it occasionally, but only when I vote to kick someone, or mute their mic (approx. 10% chance).
I reccommend doing a FULL shutdown (hold pwr button on console until it shuts off) once in a while to clear the system cache, do NOT run xbone in “power saver” mode, and QUIT all other apps/games at the home screen before booting up FM5. These steps CAN cut down on the problem (no guarantees, obviously).
Good luck bro!
