Aside from the voting for cars and tracks thing, I began to look a bit on how there used to be spy shots of upcoming DLC cars. Why can’t Turn 10 do that again? I know clue threads are epic and all, but still.
Ha ha, TBH I had a few evenings spare recently so I decided to have a crack at sorting the mountains of data contained on the wishlist pages. I’ve got two tables of data so far. The first matches car request rates with the year in which a car was manufactured, and the second matches request rates to manufacturer.
My XML file lists only 1934 car requests which is a fraction of the data you’ll find on the wishlist thread, but even this relatively small amount has me a little overwhelmed. A third table of model specifications listed in my XML file looks a mess at this point in time because of inaccuracies, typos and transcription errors. It looked hopeless when I posted the page online a while ago so I pulled it straight away. I am working on cleaning it up a bit but this will take time.
