Now that a couple of my friends have purchased Forza 6 we would like to race each other on line. We have quite a bit of real track experience, but absolutely zero on-line gaming experience of any kind.
I am certain that to experienced users these questions may sound lame, but so be it. If you can help…thanks very much in advance. I can’t get much info from the game without signing up for Xbox Gold.
- At first we want to just race each other and avatars and not join a league. Can that can be done?
2 )I’m assuming you can talk to each other via the microphones while playing. Is that correct, and is there a limit to the number of people?
-
Can you split the driving of a single car? i.e. LeMans style endurance racing using multiple drivers sharing one car vs. avatars.
-
Can more than two race head to head?
Any help is appreciated.
If you want to race online you and your friends will need Xbox Live Gold membership.
That was quick! Thanks a lot.
Check out fast and clean racing
Great bunch of people. We specialise in hotlapping but there are always some good races being setup all in private lobbies.
Thanks, that looks like a good idea.
Hot-lapping avoids all of the downsides that most everyone complains about in the racing groups. Many of the Forum complaints are the main reason we want to avoid racing on line. Crash fests would just drive us nuts. Once we get some serious on-line experience (and more game experience) I will be checking this out. I’m sure some leagues may have cleaner racing than others as well.
Generally the leagues offer better racing than public hoppers, although I’ve only been in the top division so can’t comment on the lower ones.
I only race in the leagues for the simple reason that you’re matched with people of similar skills, it’s far from perfect but in my opinion it’s the best way to have good races aside from private lobbies with mates.
We have some of the fastest guys in our group, as you’ll no doubt see in the near future, and everyone in the group prides themselves on helping others get better.
Good luck, I hope you find some good racing, there are plenty of clean guys out there.
