Boost Controller

You line up on the drag strip, focused and ready you open up your telemetry and start getting your launch control setup, only to see that you’re gonna be launching at 30psi of boost pressure, you let go of the brake and immediately go into a wheelspin, losing control and bam … you hit the wall.

This is where my suggestion comes in. As all of you know there are a lot of advanced boost controllers on the market today (e.g. GFB G Force 3, Turbosmart EBoost 2 etc.) That can do wonders. From being ably to adjsut you desired boost pressure on the fly, to having a “Boost by Gear” function improving traction from a dig and starting to gain more power as you go through the gears and start throwing more boost into the engine.

Why not implement a featre like this into the current and upcoming games? For example you can fully build your MK 4 supra for 1600hp and just turn the boost down when you go for a cruise, and as soon as you want to race you can ramp up the boost or even select how much pressure you want in each gear. Making it easier to control the car and more fun to tune to find that perfect balance between power and traction.

By adding a section to the tuning menu for this will be ideal, so that you can adjust this on the fly just like you would in real life.

Forza had traditionally only allowed you to regulate boost pressures through the level of blower you attatch the car, realistically we should be able to fine tune our boost settings

Agreed. More specifically a boost by gear option would be amazing. I don’t want to send all 800hp to the rear wheels of my race car when I’m launching and navigating low speed corners
