The M340i xdrive to be exact
For the B58/S58 engines in general, they should give them WAY more tuning potential, it maxes out at only like 800hp, in reality, people have broken 1000bhp on the standard internals! Surely, it should max out at like 1400hp, if the 2JZ maxes out at 1600hp.
The tuning potential of many other well known engines seems to be very lackluster, for instance, the Audi 4.0TFSI V8 only maxes out at like 800 as well, there are tons of 1000+hp examples out there in the real world, a lot of them still on the stock internals. Also, the N54, a very tunable engine in forza only maxes out at 600hp, in reality, people have cranked out well over 800hp. These are just to name a few.

I agree, we already kind of have the front from the m3 in the m4
Even the forums consider the 3 Series and 4 Series separate cars. Now give us these two 3 Series:
