Wait so if I block a player because he’s racing like a douche, I can’t get into a lobby if that player’s in it? This means searching for lobbies can be extremely hard. This sucks.
There are always lobbies to get into. Now if we all block people that are “douch’s” they wont be able to get in your lobby either keeping the lobby you get into cleaner. Keep the glass half full man life is better that way

Precisely, I would way rather wait the extra minute or two (if that) that it takes to find a better lobby. I race in hoppers a lot and after blocking a decent amount of people, I have found that it is rare to get into a lobby that I can’t tolerate. Some of it might be attributed to my lvl and being top 1% but I think blocking is VERY useful.

so how exactly does one block a racer?
If you click on their gamertag in the lobby the option is there. Its in the same menu as add friend and report, if they leave the lobby before you get the chance you can always search recent players from your friends list.
If you block that is the right direction. To PROPERLY get rid of them, you must ALSO REPORT THEM! That is when they get put into the “Douche Lobbies”. Go to report, select the option that best fits why, and you have the option to give a description of why you are reporting them. Thats when their REPUTATION goes down, thats when they get put into the “Douche” category.
Yeah I’d rather wait 10 minutes for a good lobby - racing with the rammers is just the most infuriating experience. I had a “race” the other day where there were 3 jeeps all with “Troll Police” on the side, who just lined up and blocked the road every lap. Amazes me that people would spend £45 just to annoy another people.
