Blizzard occurs too often

Is it only me or does a blizzard strike almost literally every 2 minutes?

It’s like
2 minutes clear
5 minutes blizzard
2 minutes clear
5 minutes blizzard

All the time.

I know it’s called Blizzard Mountain.
But shouldn’t the blizzard be an exception? ATM it is the standard condition, frequently interrupted with clear weather.

I expected getting a blizzard more like every 10 - 15 minutes, maybe.

I also get mad when things are not exactly the way I expect. I get even angrier when my unmet expectations are unreasonable. I wasn’t expecting this many blizzards in a place literally named after them. Also, why is the expansion not included in the ultimate edition.

Poor PG/T10 had it been the other way around there would be endless “WELL WHERE’S THE BLIZZARD IT’S CALLED BLIZZARD MOUNTAIN” threads. With that said though the comment above made my day lol

Yeah, that and not plowing and salting the roads during a blizzard is a bummer too.

There’s nothing quite like jumping off a danger sign at night with only the driven snow showing in your headlights… Almost a “Star Wars” hyperspace moment…

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow…

15 second fix for that.

  1. Fast travel to a beauty spot
  2. Try to stand having to listen to Warren’s line without going insane (this is really the toughest part)
  3. Enjoy the nice sunny weather from that beauty spot in your open world

OP. I agree. And sorry all the idiots came out to reply to your post.

Yes it’s called blizzard mountain. But turn10 created such a wonderful map and id like to enjoy it. It’s not fun to drive around when 55/60 minutes is blizzard conditions and you can barely see your hand in front of you.

I want to play Forza. Not attempt to drive a car I can’t identify in a white screen of death.

Blizzards should occur but they also shouldn’t be a constant. no one wants to play in that. and if you say you do you’re either a liar or you’re staying a bit and then playing back on the mainland or not playing forza.

Please give us the ability to lock the weather. Awh man, did I just wish list this?

It may not be fun for you. I beg to differ.

Since when do you speak for everyone? I want to play in in that.

You’re a bit arrogant and full of yourself, aren’t you. Who the hell are you to call me a liar? Or state how I’m playing the expansion, or what conditions I want to play in?
If you don’t like the amount of blizzards you can always stay off the mountain. There’s a nice, safe beach for you at Byron Bay.

Having said all the above, this would be a good option for those that don’t like the blizzards. For free roam only, of course. Races and events etc should stay as they are. I don’t see it happening though. Did this option appear in earlier Forzas? I never played the X1 range.
Yes, you did just wish list this.

I’m havin a blast. They are more frequent than expected but, it’s not the end of the world, and it’s a nice challenge and change of pace, especially without snow tires.

My guess is that the folks who enjoy photography won’t like constant blizzards. Tough to set up and execute a cool picture with zero visibility.

Can you customize events/races like we can on the mainland? In that case you could lock the weather to “sunny” or “clear” or whatever. That would at least give you a break from any blizzards during those customized races. Wouldn’t help with free roam and looking at the scenery, but at least it’s a way to stop the blizzard for a bit.

I beg to differ. I love photomode, and I’m really loving trying to get good blizzard shots as well as in the sun.
I’ve found a few methods for tackling lighting in blizzards and it’s made for some stunning shots.

Fair point. Didn’t mean to imply I was speaking for all players interested in photography. I haven’t tried Blizzard Mountain yet, just reading through some of the threads here before I give it a go tonight.

“I bought an expansion about blizzards, but i don’t want blizzards.”

Okaaaaaay…

You can choose the weather, time of day and just about anything else when you create a custom blueprint events… should keep the fair weather racers and togs happy…

“You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.”

I personally cant wait for the “Sunny with a chance of meatballs on a small mound expansion”…

Yeah, in free-roam the blizzards are definitely way too frequent for something that completely interrupts your drive. It’s especially irksome when the map has so many absolutely fantastic views and stellar scenery, but you can’t see any of it because the game suddenly says so. =/

For races, absolutely, it adds a layer of challenge. But in free-roam? I don’t see any constructive reason to have the blizzards occur this regularly.
