Blind Luck? Open Source 71 Skyline C Class

Hey guys,

First of all, I don’t pretend to know what I’m doing at all, so this was just pure luck on my part. I put this together tonight and couldn’t be happier with it. It handles as well, or better, than the Mini Coopers everyone has, but has way more speed. I have only run a handful of laps around Prague with it so far, but I ran a 2:15.085 on my last lap. Only thing is, I just barely clipped the wal with it near the end and wound up with a dirty lap. I didn’t have time to run another lap, but I will give it a go tomorrow and am very confident I can get in the 2:14 range or lower. A good bit lower once I get used to shifting manually. The overall leader is 2:09 and I’m a newbie driver and still far from being good. I shared the tune on the game, but figured I’d post it here so people have access to it. Some of you guys have forgot more about tuning than I will ever know, so I’m sure it can be tweaked to be much better. Its pretty awesome as is though, IMO. I’m very new to RWD cars in the game, but ran it with TCS and STM both off. It handled like it was riding on rails and the tires don’t even make much noise. The rear end will kick out just a bit if you give it full throttle coming out of a couple of the turns. Just feather it slightly and its all good. Otherwise, its pretty much full throttle and go. I can’t wait to see how it does on other tracks.

Well done nice to see more newbies like me trying to do setups and getting good results with them.
Ill try yr setup and let you know how i get on.

Gave it a go on prague and was able to set a time of 2:12.-- so yeah its good the builds pretty solid if i did have anything to say could be improved it would just be tinker around with the diff particularly the Acceleration as it does like to try and spin you around when accelerating but apart from that its a good build well done.

I used yr tune with no assists and manual/clutch to achieve the time i set im sure infact positive someone else could set a much faster time than me with it.
