Played FM7, watched some Youtube during dinner or go play something on Playstation. Try and return to FM7, black screen. I can hear everything, just can’t see anything. And if you tell me to delete it and reinstall, I’m not reinstalling it. I’m already past my data limit for the month and I’m at my wits end with the amount of stupid issues the Xbox One has been giving me.
BECAUSE how modern games are SUPPOSED to work is they go to sleep whilst you’re away so you don’t have to sit through loading screens and stuff and you can jump back in where you left off. But, yeah, seems Forza how subscribes to The Crew’s way of doing things after the latest hotfix. But, it’s still a bug that needs reported.
Look, I’m trying to report a legitimate bug. All you’re doing is playing Devil’s Advocate which helps exactly no one. Go away. Also, it’s worked that way before the hotfix that broke everything. It works that way for the vast majority of games. Just because you play MMOs and stuff doesn’t mean that’s how the rest of the world works. The only time it SHOULDN’T work is if the game is always online. And the only time where you get a black screen that crashes your system is when the game is broken.
ALSO, 66% of the time when I get the black screen, trying to bring up the dashboard crashed my Xbox.
I was just wanting to see anything concrete about your claims.
I’ve been to dashboard, system settings menu, disconnected internet, reconnected internet all while not having quit the game, back to the game and it’s fine.
I’m not in the middle of a race when I quit out. And I always power off with a controller.
Well then it’s only my game. Which probably means Microsoft’s suggestion might be to either clear my cache or uninstall and reinstall the game. and neither are gonna happen. I mean, maybe when Forza Horizon comes out and I’ve done a little bit with the Formula Drift pack, I’ll delete Forza 7, but I’m not reinstalling it for a while if ever.
