Still trying but can’t seem to beat my best time. Do you all prefer manual or auto? the manual seems to be faster but I drive a little better when i don’t have to think about shifting. My best time was with the manual so far.
I use the Manual, and yeah, it has little more pick up than the Auto. Also, the Manual with Clutch has more pick up than the regular Manual, but it is such a pain for me to drive. I know you can swap the buttons around, but it doesn’t matter to me, it just isn’t right.
I definitely prefer manual with clutch in real life. I prefer manual in Forza. I usually just use the regular controller. I have a Microsoft wheel, but it’s a pain to drag it out every time I play, and using it with a recliner isn’t ideal. I’m not fast in-game or in real life, but I do think I’m faster in Forza with the manual than with the automatic, and I just prefer to do my own shifting. Anyway, I haven’t gotten the hang of using the clutch with the controller or with the wheel. It’s not like using a real-life clutch, anyway, so I’m satisfied with just manual, instead of manual with clutch.

You got me beat Elm. My time is 1:58.177 on lap 2. I like that term slightly slower Kool. Slightly slower sounds like a good nick name for me in Forza 4. With how smooth this car drives I would definitely buy her Kool. Can’t wait to test drive the other cars Kool.

I got some 1:fifty-something laps yesterday in ‘Test Drive’, but I didn’t bother saving replays. I was just seeing how the car and track felt. Plus, I had forgotten to shut off manual clutch from an earlier attempt to learn how to wheelie… I don’t expect to get much faster, but I do hope to have some clean laps for my replays.
Also, true to form, I fell asleep with the controller in my hands again last night.
