So how do I get a photo into the forums, I know how to take photos in the game and I know you can link photos into a thread, but how do I do the middle bit of getting a photo from the game onto the forums?
You’re almost there. 
If you know how to get to your Gallery here on the forums, open the pic you want to post, copy the URL in the address bar at the top of your browser, then come here and start a post.
Once you have started a post, at the white screen where you edit your post, you click the Insert Image, mountain range and sun icon, at the top of the edit post section on the tool bar.
The first pop up is where you paste the image URL, hit OK, then you can put in a name if you want.
This way is just for leaving your pics uploaded in game.
If you use a hosting site, like flickr, the procedure is the same for getting into the post, but you will copy the URL from your hosting site.
Use the search area at the top of the page to look for a post on how to get pics into the forums. It may take some time to find one, I’m having trouble doing so right now, but when I come across one I will post it here.
Where’s the gallery? I Know how to link a photo in to threads, just don’t know where the photos from my game are.
At the top of the Webpage once you’re in the Forums at the top of the screen there are 4 options, Games, Community, Rewards and Store. Select Community and then select Gallery. That will take you to your online Gallery of all the Photos that are currently on your Storefront. That should help you get the rest of the way to what you need. BTW, if you delete a Photo from your Storefront that is linked to the Threads it will Delete it from the Thread Post as well. Good Luck.

Should I use standard sized shots, or big shots for the forums? Is it noticeable or not?
I will have to defer to others for this as I have a Flickr account that I use to post my photo’s.
It really doesn’t matter, just as long as it is within Forum limits.

Hi I have followed the instructions on how to insert the image am I missing something? I have tried to copy the URL from my flicker acc. Your help would be much appreciated cheers Slav
you need to click the “insert image” link top of the message window a square box with a mountain and sun in it then you paste your link in the pop up window after you do that it will pop up again for a second pic link I always hit cancel and go get my next link and repeat the process. You will only have the tool bar across the top if you click “post reply” it doesn’t give you the option when you do “quick reply”. hope this helps
