Being held Hostage til the release of the XBOX X

Similar to the feature delays with the release of Horizon 3 on PC. Are we not allowed a complete game until the soon to be released XBOX X console?
In other words, on the day they release the updated console, they also unlock Leagues, Auction House and etc…

Flagship game on new flagship console. Makes sense to put the core game out for Beta testing on Xbox One and PC to find out how many bugs there are before developing the rest of the game…

Yeah, kinda seems like those of us who own it now should’ve paid much less for it, not only because of the locked leagues & auction house, but because of the half-finished product we unknowingly purchased. 140 bucks for this was definitely WAAAY too much.
Also, dig your 'Stang, very nice.

Thanks The Sickness!!

I agree, most expensive public beta I’ve ever bought.

I would say it’s the ONLY public beta I’ve had to buy lol

Got my copy afte first update so can’t comment on what it was like before, but I only paid 35 quid, not even 70 dollars, and it’s worked flawlessly, total bargain. After reading theses forums I expected at least one crash or glitch, but nothing, very happy

Prior to the games release the developers said that not all features would be available from the start, if you chose to buy it in that “unfinished” state then thats on you.

So a recent thread was locked with this comment “Prior to the games release the developers said that not all features would be available from the start, if you chose to buy it in that “unfinished” state then thats on you.” before I could submit a reply.

Yes, that may be true for people like myself that visit this forum. But please, oh please, tell me how my less dedicated friends and family would have seen that on the Store page? I do not see anything resembling “this game is not yet feature complete”. Checking physical disk I also could not find nothing about 'Note from Dev: some feature in this game will be available at an undefined ulterior date…".vNope nothing along those line where the product is sold or on the physical one either.

So to tell people to go seek Dev comment on forums,or tweeter, is like takind to us to tracking down the engineer or builder of a car to make sure all the feature we asked for will be in it. When you buy it at the dealer, said dealer would have no documentation indicating your car maybe incomplete or that you should check elsewhere for info about your product that you are buying right there.

[Mod edit - WSD] Do not repost threads which have been locked, but in answer to your question its still on you to check with your supplier what your getting and if you feel you didnt get what you paid for then thats between you and your seller.
