Basic question on telemetry

I’m sorry for the this very basic question, but where can I find the telemetry in F5?

I just got the game recently and in 4 you could view it while watching replays and I havent been able to find it in 5.

You can’t view it on replays anymore. You can only ever view your own telemetry now by pressing up on d-pad.

Is it just while you’re driving in real time or is there a way to watch it while watching yourself on replay in any particular game mode?

only in real time can you view it. Its kind of a pain trying to watch your telemetry and still hit the corner correctly so i dont use telemetry any more.

Yeah, that is a pain. Is there a better way to judge and set things such as camber and tire pressure? I always made adjustments and then took test drives, watching the replays to see how the tire temp and pressures were being affected. Just wondering if anyone has any better way of doing things now in F5.

You can also use the “Record That” function of the Xbox and replay it later. Go for a test drive and try it out…

Yeah I was tuning with telemetry in FM4 as well be about all it’s good for now is tire pressure and the shock graph too see if your bottoming out. The camber gauge isn’t accurate or won’t give you the right settings and the tire temps are way out of skew compared to 4. Camber should be higher than -2.0 in most cases even -4.0 and temps will range from 10-20 degrees from the inside to the outside of the tires now. You have to tune more by feel now so just keep trying new things until you find the sweet spot.

You can find plenty of good general tuning setups that will at least get the car close and then tweak from there. Just keep scrolling thru the tuning section to find a few and use the one the best fits your driving style.

Appreciate the feedback guys and I dont want this to turn into another “how to tune” thread because I know there are several of those already around and I respect that. I had just been so used to starting my tunes using the telemetry and hadnt been able to figure out how to do that yet with this game.

I’ll start to look through the other threads and go from there now that I know how to find the telemetry and know of some of its limitations now.
