Just an FYI in case anyone has not posted this anywhere or if someone has gotten this message from gold expiring ---- if your x live gold expires playing FH2 FNF and you accessed rival mode it may kick out a message saying your gamertag has been BANNED from these features and the usual directives of where to contact instead of service unavailable or that you need x live for this feature. It will not be in your messages from live by hitting your central x button but a message in the game such as server unavailable would appear.
I am not or was not banned just needed to renew my x live gold but that is what message may pop up for you telling you to make the same contact as if you were being banned when really it’s only that live gold expired.

Basically, if you don’t have Xbox Gold you cannot access Xbox Gold features though, right?
Correct you couldn’t access live areas as would be normal without gold which I knew mine just expired and I renewed it and all is well … BUT lol I figured I would put the message info on the forum in case someone who plays legit but gold expired or they use a silver account and they get a “your gametag has been banned from content” contact so and so message when it’s not anything to do with their tag being banned from content at all but to do with gold.
To ad – under club access it gave the standard you need a live account to access this feature so it was only the rivals feature as far as I know and I passed it forward to a good mod so if they get messaged over it they will know no gold was kicking out a banned tag message
