Nope, don’t do that either. It’s too risky to try to stop the Ai with the back of your car, you should only ever hit them with the front of your car on the bends. The Ai can actually monitor your controller, they know what you will do before your car even does it.
I had one race recently in FH4 Trial where there were too many of us wanting to play the blocker for the rest of the team.
All of us wanting to be the selfless hero led to a comical scenario of at least 3 of us jockeying for position like “no… after you!”, tripped over each other and let the AI past for the win. So ridiculous I had to laugh

That is absolutely not true. Neither the basis for monitoring your controller, nor the blocking tactic. I corral the entire field of AI from the front in Trials all the time.
Even in S2 Street they can sit there dumbfounded for many seconds even when the lane is open ahead
Never had that happen. Seems like almost everyone is usually either to focused on racing their own race or just not good/experienced enough to help the team like that
The seem to move out of my way before my car has even turned. I have to hit them at high speed to catch them at all.
Cheers - finally somebody gets it. I let the teammates through even if I lose to a couple of AI then re-pass them later.
