Hello everybody, I was just wondering what is the best way to set AWD diff settings? In particular the front diff?? Again I am getting mixed advice from fellow racers as well as the game description about adjusting differentials. What seems to be the general consensus about it? I’ve heard that for the front you should set it at 100/0 ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Try 70/0/100/35/70
But of course diff works in conjunction with other settings. So your mileage may vary.
40/0/60/10/60 works good for me
95/10
90/15
67% works for me

I’ll throw out a 4th, lol. You guys are better tuners than I am so I could be way wrong with this though process. I tune, going from memory sorry, 40-60 front accel, I’ve started using around 50 for front deceleration. Thinking being that as I let off the gas for turns especially the ones that are momentum turns, it’s been helping to help the front end grab a little more and initiate the turn instead of actually braking to set the front end.
The rear end I usually run between 80 and 95 accel and 20 deceleration. I prefer rear bias so I tune to 75% rear, sometimes 80, sometimes 70 depending on the car.
Again, I’m not the tuner most of you guys are but that what I’ve been using on my faster builds.

your front diff should be 100 percent that way the front wheels don’t waste any power your rear should be 100 percent also the torque bias is down to preference
Hold on I got one to lol 70/0 75/25 72 also gearing,your settings can be great but if the gearing isn’t youll stall out,1st gear particularly,2.9-3.5 is usually where ill set 1st gear (if you play with the gearing),I could be rambling on now,I’ll stop😂

Rear 70/20
mid 55-75%
Then there is some cars that simply do not work with this setting (Subaru SVX is only I can remember from the top of my head)
For that I’m running
Front 70/0
Rear 80/10
Mid 45%
Yes that’s actually front biased power distribution,
My thinking on this subject is that I Brake → Initiate the turn off throttle-> Power trough the turn, (Might end up sliding but that’s rare)
How ever I never really do drivetrain swaps, and that might change things to one way or another, as the drivetrain swap changes the handling so much.
I agree that the rear diff should be about 70% accel but personally find having the front at 100% works very well. In forza the diff never actually locks fully I’ve also seen very fast drivers tune this way.
