I cant seem to get the car to reverse, ive tried everything, it wont let me remap anything because it says all keys must be assigned but i dont have enough buttons on the wheel/pedals to do so. The only way i can reverse the car is if its on Manual or Manual + Clutch. Is there something im missing? This is my first time purchasing a wheel for a racing game. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Same problem here! So your’re not alone, and i can’t figure out either how to fix it without going manual. Got a wheel for horizon 3 to try out a wheel for a racing game for the first time aswell, but if the reverse aint working and can’t fix it ill probably just return it and use the controller.

you have to press on the brake pedal very hard.
If your G920 is very new, your brake pedal will be very stiff.
Set your outside deceleration deadzone to 50 and it should make things a lot better. And will compensate for the stiffness. You can slowly increase the deadzone if you feel the pedal loosen up, but mine is still quite stiff after a year.
To reverse with automatic transmission, hold the brake pedal down until you have stopped and keep holding it until you reverse.

Felt like i was standing on the brake pedal and didnt reverse. Guess ill try out the outside deceleration deadzone tip.
