I’m confused. I got my second Jaguar XKR-S GT from the Forzathon (the first one I bought from the specialty dealer). I auctioned the one I won but if I search for this model in the AH, it isn’t listed. So I can auction it but noone can buy it?
The search is not the best. if it is a FE or SD car you can set the Max Buyout and Max bid to ANY then in advance settings just choose MAKE then scroll down > Specialty Dealer or Forza Edition > YES and SEARCH. if an ordinary car you can narrow it by year or class but I have found that to be unreliable at times. With your car, T10 have not added the GT which is why it does not turn up in the search and until it gets close to the closing time and shows up in the AH feed or somebody types your username it would be by chance to come across it. I checked and the car is there with a bidder.

Last night, the auction house actually proved useful for a change!
I’m having trouble being bothered to finish the career, but really wanted the F40C. Because I haven’t unlocked it, I had to browse all the Ferraris to find one, but I found one. Dropped 1.3m credits in someones lap and walked away happy!

Being a noob with the auction house, but have currently sold and bought a few cars,… why does the timer reset to 2 min, to 1min? Numerous times have I watched a car that was on 2min sell above an additional 10min,… this is totally absurd. Auctioning is hit or miss,… if this is to help the seller,… TFB, if your car sells low, live with it, if it sells high, kudos to you.
This prolonging auction timers with a reset is another one of the misses in this game,… get rid of it please.

Story time.
As I’m a successful Forza painter with many downloads, I’m able to list cars for up to 20,000,000 CR if they’ve got my design on them (they also show up under Elite Designs). I put one up for fun as I didn’t need the car anyway, and it sold
I put up 5 more after that and some rich player (who probably did the CR glitches before they were patched out in October) bought them all 
So now I’ve got over 100,000,000 CR. It’s wasted on me though as I hardly ever buy any cars 
I’ll figure out something to do with all this CR at some point, maybe run a contest or something.
My main question is how can i sell above value as alot of people are? Porsche 911 rsr #92 is selling max for 458k, other people are able to sell it at 900k… How can i have that option? In Horizon it was explained how, forza 7 its not…
I think it depends on how much upgrades you have bought for that car. But then again I’ve seen someone sell cars for 20 or 30 times more than the maximum stock value of that car.
Extra high CR prices Elite painters, Elite Tuners similar to FH3 where they could sell cars 10’000 - 20 Mil where regular folk around 500’000. Mercedes 300SEL is a prime example. I don’t mind paying for a great paint job but in FM7 paying for a tune/upgrade with big CR is crazy. If it is set up for different tracks or assists (which you don’t know at purchase time or after for that matter) and undrivable to you when you get it you lose the parts when you unlock the tune. FH3 it sent the TUNE section back to DEFAULT which is all that is needed and you had the parts to work with. I don’t buy the reason why you lose the parts since there are only about 20 options in the upgrade section and in most cases it doesn’t matter if it is a Rolls or a Mini it is installing the same product and any improvements is all done in the Tune section.
Most people when they get to Elite (people far worse than the real elite here in the Paint Booth, might I add), they just begin to troll everyone by putting a lame design on a rare car and selling it for unreasonable price… This is precisely why the system does not work as intended.
At this point it’s better to bring the Storefront back, increase requirement to become Elite (by increase I mean A LOT, enough to prevent people from cheesing freshly released cars to become Elite) and increase payout for downloads and uses.

Still a mystery to me - the question has been asked before but it seems the actual formula/ requirement is a bit of information T10 is unwilling to share.
Most folks are assuming this works like FH3 but as I haven’t played much of that title, can’t really say for sure whether this is accurate or just hearsay.
Tell me I have reached the Aution limit in the given time limit. Any idea or information on the limit of auctions or the time limit it is referring to would be great. Thanks.

It seems you can sell the '93 ford cobra FE now. I spotted one in the auction house. It was snatched right before I could get it.
If anyone is willing to put one on the auction house, I’d be happy to pay the 5.5 mil minimum buy-out.

I but a bid on a vehicle in the auction house and the money was removed from my account. I totally understand that, but someone had outbid me for that very same vehicle. Do I get that money back now? My account is still missing that money. Because that is not how real auction houses work.

You have to claim the money again. Go to my auctions, there should be a option to claim the money

How come it is in the AH I can list some of my 'Forza Edition" cars and not
others?
You can’t auction gifted cars.
I was just wondering why I have the same car in my garage,
yet someone can put it for sale in the AH.
