Thanks but didn’t works
what do you mean it didn’t work? Does it come up with an error message, or is there no option to retrieve credits or cars?
, I can see the press A to collect but when I did there is an error message .
^ havent even noticed division as an option to search for. thanks Stang!

Glad I could help!
To be honest - I´m quite disappointed with the auction house. I can´t set the buyout price the way I´d like to. Take a car worth 185.000. I can set the buyout price to 100.000 or 200.000. No inbetween possible. I´d like to have 10.000 credit steps. Whereas nobody will buy a car for more than he had to pay regular, selling for 100.000 makes a huge loss for me.
I agree with that too… Now let me sell any car and for the love of god remove the 25 auctions per day nonsense

Notes
Please post Auction House rules/quirks/info as you find them and I’ll update this post.
- Bidding on a DLC car when you don’t own the DLC will result in a “Marketplace Error”
- Cars you received as an award or gift (ie for free) cannot be listed on the Auction House.
- Starting Price can be set in a range from roughly 10% of the car value to the full car value.
- Buyout Price can be set in a range from roughly 50% of the car value to a little more than the car value.
- Auction length can be set to 1, 3, 6, 12, or 24 hrs.
- When viewing the Auctions menu, look to the lower left of the screen for the icon indicating that you already own that car model.
- “View the Elite Designs section to find auction listings from the best content creators in the Forza community.”
- “Featured auctions showcase some of the best current listings in the Forza community.”
- “Note: The Auction house takes a small amount of the proceeds from completed auctions. The amount scales based on how much a car was sold for.”
- You can auction cars that have designs and tuning setups you downloaded from the community. These creators will receive Use payouts as the car goes to the new owner. Buyers can remove the designs and tunes, but they will not be available to be restored to that car (unless available for download from the original creator).
- Credits from completed auctions will not be returned to you until you select the specific auction and Collect Credits. Won cars also need to be collected.
MojitoVerde:Find not listed cars.
One can find cars, which aren´t available at the dealer. Search for just “Bugatti”, and you will find the Veyron, too. It has no own searchstring, the name isn´t listed.
A question: Could someone without VIP check, if he finds VIP-FE cars? I´m able to buy them at the dealer and bring them to the AH. I just don´t know, if everyone can find them. There is an option to search for FE-Cars, so when you search “Ford” and FE-cars, you could find the RS, for example. The Veyron is available through levelling up - it is likely, that is the reason we can find it.
Which cars aren´t sellable in the AH?
Obviously gifted cars, won cars (f.e. championship, showcase cars…) - cars you didn´t pay for. After some testing, I found none of them. (the Ferrari FXXK, f.e.)
Cars you got for free through levelling up aren´t sellable, too! Cars like the Indy´s, where you have to pay 25000 for, are sellable. So when you are at a low tier and get a Nascar with additional payment, you can sell it. At higher tiers, when you get it for free, those aren´t. I have two Nascars that aren´t sellable, and one that is. All three I got from levelling.Pricing
The AH doesn´t let you make prices below the half of what it´s worth. So you can´t make money from it, as long as you buyout. With bidding it is possible to pay under half of what it´s worth, so selling it fom the garage grants you the difference between what you paid and the half of it´s price at the dealer. The cap seems to be as always - the more parts you put in, the more you can ask for buyout. Can anyone confirm, what a user posted in the other thread? He said, his car from the AH had lost all tuning parts and the design, which seems to be a bug, not normal. As soon, as I buy a car in the AH, I will have a look at it.
When it comes to those elite-pricing, I´m out. I don´t care for that and thus there is no need to learn about it. If someone wants to add this, feel free to do so.
Specialty Dealer
Obviously you can sell those cars, thus I found some. I didn´t try this by myself. When you don´t find a car, it isn´t available at this time, I guess. You also can search especially for those cars, there is an option for. As said, I found some, with production numbers shown in the offer. I didn´t try, if I find the names listed. No excessively pricing seen, so far.General
I took that cool and wonderful list on Kudosprime (kudos to you :-)) and had a look at cars, that aren´t available in the game. Unfortunately, the most of them weren´t there. I tried the AM One-77 (and other AM), and some other legendaries, but nothing. The Shelby Daytona must be to find, as long it is offered, because I got it from levelling. I guess, most of the cars are sellable, but they´re simply not available at this moment. I don´t know which cars from the list aren´t given for levelling, so I don´t know, which cars aren´t available at all. Does anyone own the One-77? Is it sellable? So far, those are the things I know about. I hope, this helps a bit, and I´m looking forward to see interesting additions.

The #99 Oreca PC can also be normally bought in-game.
Yeah if i buy a Car with Tuning Parts, delete the tune and want to replace the parts (what i payed for !!!) everything is lost. Another Great Job from T10 !
So the only way is to buy the Car, didn´t touch the Tune and Sell it für a better Price loool

My rule is only to buy cars that are a standard issue or paint job/design I like only. As soon as I see “TUNED BY” with a name under it some other sucker can buy it and suffer. I might make an exception for something that is cheap, excellent paint, still in same class as original and only up a couple of numbers up in spec which indicates a mild upgrade and accept if it handles like a sack on wheels I will lose the parts. Ain’t that many of those around so the AH is all but dead for me until they change this nonsense.

Yup. 99% of the auction house is plagued with slammed monster liveried cars with maxed out skinny rims. It’s hilariously disgusting.

Totally agree. The AH in this game is basically useless ATM.
A lot of those tunes and paints you see on the AH cars are also in the players sharefront. That way you can download the tune and put it in your catalog to be used anytime, and you get to keep the parts that way.
Was never much into the AH and this isnt really making me want to deal with it this time around.
Historically in other Forza games I have purchased cars in the AH with lots of parts, removed the tune and rebuilt the car how I like it. In FM7 doing this removes the parts (expected) but then they disappear and you no longer own them.
Is this by design or a bug?

Mike

Hard to tell but imagine if you purchased a custom car or rod IRL and put it in for a tire change and when you pick it up the whole car is back to standard. Basically rules out any car you might like to buy at the AH that has been upgraded/tuned. It is one in a million that you will be satisfied with the tune and most sellers will upgrade the car to fetch a higher price which was what I did in FH3 made sense and was fair to all…of course they are going to change it.

Wait wait you got to. be kidding you are griping that sone one was daft enouth to pay 9,000,000 for a car that they could have got for 140,000 or the fact you only recived 7,710,625 wow there are some real strange people in this game.
