Self-explanatory, some cars cars disappear off the Auction House too quickly and making Buyout optional would allow for actual action to happen there. This kind of Auction should also have an increased price limit, I would say 200mil would be enough. Who knows, maybe the Developers would sometimes put cars up on quick No Buyout Auctions.
absolutely. even in normal auctions, buyout should not be an option at all if the auction in at less that 5-10min or so. its a joke that you can bid on an auction with a day left, but once it gets to that top spot and is the auction with the least time left, its almost guarenteed to be snapped up by someone who doesnt care and just assumes buyout is cheaper than the normal autoshow.
and if anyone doesnt think this happens, I tried to bid and buy an alfa gta stradale on the auctionhouse by bidding and they kept getting bought out for 500-800k. the car costs 300k on autoshow, which is where I just eventually got mine from after getting enough money to not need to bid on one for 115k
its also awful that people sell cars on the auctionhouse for 20mil starting bid because thats how you make money in this game, ive seen lists of 5-6 auctions with starting bid and buyout both set to 20mil and all from the same seller…

This was in FM7, I missed some cars, I can’t leave this game in 6 years without having all cars, I want to buy rare cars I don’t have. Plz Forza.
Buyout maximum limit should be removed. In an economy driven by players, this limit does not encourage users to sell very rare cars on auction, the price does not reflects the car value so cars will stay in garages forever, without being traded between players.
Some taxing system should be implemented to avoid absurd prices.
Ex: If sell prices is over 2x car value (max buyout), seller should pay 5% tax
3x car value, seller should pay 10% tax
Not sure if this is the best system, but it’s a starting ideea. Feel free to come with suggestions
Pros:
Cars will be traded more often
Prices will stabilize themselfes after a while
Player driven economy
Cons:
Hackers/cheaters/abusers may buy all the cars from auction as they have unlimited money.
