Did you know that you can plug in your phone charger (like a Samsung galaxy USB charger) into your Xbox and it will keep your controller on? It’s pretty handy. Now you don’t need a “play and charge kit”.

Yes, the play-n-charge kit is simply a 9 foot long standard USB 2.0 cable.

Yes, you can use the wall charger as well, any micro usb connector works.

You can also plug your phone into the play and charge kit and, thanks to the capacitor, if you unplug the cable from the xbox (not the phone), then depending on your phone, it will keep charging for another 3-5 minutes! lol
