Hello all,
After shaking off some of the rust and breaking out my paintbru…erm, shapes, with a reasonably successful if not relatively simple paint, I felt it was time to have a crack at something else. Now, I started one of these cars a long long time ago, but I never finished it and it was a different character whom I’m much less fond of now than I was back then. So after searching to see if anyone had attempted this theme since I gave up and retired again, I was surprised to find that nothing came up - which is a real shame, as there are more than a few painters who are plenty more capable of doing it justice than I.
Anyway, I spent a couple hours on it today…and as always I find it best not to tell everyone who the painting is of, because if they can see it for themselves then it is successful. It’s a good test to be sure I haven’t gone shape crazy from staring at the screen too long. Normally I’d reward the first person to guess correctly with a FREE copy of the finished design. But there are two problems with offering this; firstly there is often a chance I never get to finish a paint, and secondly (and most importantly) T10 were smart enough to make sure we have to give everyone the design for free anyway, I mean it’s not like painters need money for anything - so that’s a relief.
So now the winner of this extremely prestigious guessing game shall receive absolutely naff all. You lucky swine! Just be sure to thank T10. Good luck.
- Oh and bear in mind this is a very early WIP, so whilst feedback is welcome, save any harsh criticisms for later. My feelings are delicate.

Yay, first post, that’s a new record. Of course, it’s Arya from Game of Thrones! That means I’m going in the right direction at least. More to come later, I’m yet to decide if anyone else should appear on the car but I’ll try to keep you posted with updates down there somewhere vv
Here’s the first update (without the van pic cause I can’t be bothered to take it), it’s very minor - just tidying up the basic shading and removing the jowl I had created. Really I’m just procrastinating from starting the hair cause I hate it so much, but lets all pretend that I’m actually making progress.

Another day, another update. Managed to get another hour or two in last night so I made a start on the dreaded hair. It truly a nightmarish evening which I hope will be soon forgotten, but at least the worst part is over, though tweaks are still very much needed.

Finally managed to get a bit more painting done (not much, sadly) so there’s a new update. The pic is just about done, clothes are a bit shoddy because I’m trying to conserve layers, I figure they don’t really matter.

Also did this. I was going to try and incorporate it into the background, so it’s very light on layers too. Since trying to arrange the images on the side of a car though I’ve been struggling with working out a layout.

So, I figured out why I was having trouble with a layout. Not enough images! DUH! Well, that’s my solution anyways, when I was playing around I decided that I preferred the completed pic for the hood. I could have just added to the sigil and stuck it on the side, but Arya deserves better (unlike a certain white haired, slave-loving disappointment). So I’ve derived a layout in my head that works (while it’s in my head at least), first thing needed is a new pic of Arya, so I managed to get it started (excuse the reflections, it’s still better than the ing pics). Here it is…and stuff.

Minor update. At least I’m painting as fast as George is writing, if nothing else.

Ok, so another small update but the second image is just about done. One more to go (not a layer heavy image) and then it’s the nightmare that is picking a car and fixing a layout. Funtimes.
