They’re alright but you’ll never be at your best using them!
When it comes to tuning, everyone has their own driving style and feel, hence why some people can just get into a car and run fast times.
Think of them apps as a starting set-up which you’ll then tweak to adjust to your style…

Used the App on the i phone just to see if it actually worked or not…Built a E30 M3 myself set a time then built the same car with the app tune instead and it actually felt alot more stable and neutral to drive but was at least 1sec a lap slower prob because in forza the looser the car the faster it usually is, and usually if it feels horrible to drive it will usually fly round…so prob a good starting point for someone who is new to the game or if the car is new and u need to start somewhere its not too bad…
I had the Forza 4 version. Downloaded the new version this morning. It works well. I was still using Forza 4 version on Forza 5. Some cars came out great, while some NO! I used new app on one of my problem cars & it gave me different values for ARB & Springs & Damping. That totally made the car go through a sweeping turn with ease (example Road America). I still use my own Differential, alignment, & tire pressure. Will give the transmission gearing a go tonight after work.
I’m very satisfied with it. Just Tweak it to your driving style.
I forgot, my other RWD differential 35/15.
My correct FWD diferential # is 70/20 (typo in earlier post).
My alignment varies, miss information in my earlier post. I no long use my earlier mentioned alignment setting in nothing.
I prefer to stay A Class & lower (B Class & lower way more).
