Anyone Notice Simulation Damage on Nurburgring is really screwed up?

If you race with damage on here there are a ton of corners you can slam into the wall at 90mph and get zero damage.

Turn 10 clearly decided to disable damage in many areas. Why? We selected simulation damage for a reason.
