Anybody know of a good book about Forza 5?

I’ve been gaming for a couple of years as part of my retirement activities (I’m 72). I’ve found that the books printed about the games have been very valuable to me in getting started quickly. The Prima books, in particular, have been helpful. It used to be that software came with big user guides but not so much any more. If they exist at all, they are in digital form and I find that using a reference document in digital form pretty cumbersome. Does anybody have a link to a good Forza 5 book that talks about upgrading, driving, the tracks, tuning, painting… all that stuff that so far I have only been able to absorb tiny bits of? Or through bitter experience. I’m over driver level 200 and tier 4 but still feel like a novice. A good book about Forza 5 would easily be worth $25 to me.

I have not seen any printed books yet but I have seen a flurry of official & non-official sites ever since Forza 2 launched. A lot of people also use YouTube (and more recently Twitch) to bring their knowledge to the internet in the form of (realtime) videos covering several aspects of the game. Although some sites/forums are not the easiest to read, there is a lot of info out there which, in turn, you could print yourself.

Thanks, Octagon.

There is a guide book for forza 3. Most of the principles still apply. I can’t remember if its a prima book, but its in that style. Look on eBay or amazon, should be easy to find.

A gamer at 72!? Go on my son every credit to you

Ive not seen any books but there are various tutorials on youtube although not all of them are usefull

I’ve been playing Forza since it’s inception. Feel free to ask me anything. Saves you $25

Thanks to all. I’ve got the Forza Horizon book and it has been helpful. I’d like to get the track layouts in a form where I can print them for F5, so that I can make notes on the various turns (such as the speed I can take them at in particular cars). I have my favorite tracks (Bernese Alps and Prague) and my nemesis tracks (Silverstone) and I’m constantly working on them to find better cars and tunes. Yes, I discovered Forza 5 when my son-in-law, who works for Microsoft, gave me an Xbox for Christmas so that I could “play with the grandkids.” Now they won’t play with me because they say I take it too seriously! Well, there’s always Madden 25, which they can still beat me at!
