Having the exact same problems and apparently finding a solution isn’t happening right now. Gonna stay posted and see if anything comes up.

I’ve had the same problem reported in this article (for those interested, see the topic in my profile), together with breaking Forza Horizon 3 as well. It’s the exact same thing, “DCOM Error 5”, and I’ve got no answer in my own topic here and I got my account suspended on your support page this Monday after I submitted an issue this weekend with plenty of log events attached to help debug the problem.
The funny thing is, I’ve got my refund for Horizon 4, my account got suspended on support.forzamotorport.net and Horizon 3 is still not working. I’ve put it there on the issue and I’m sure the help I’d get there would allow me to get H3 back to work.

Same here, its out for me and the windows message does not display saying I need to wait for it to release. I open the game and it waits a few seconds and then the mini screen just closes.
i have the exat same issue. its just close after a few seconds.

Had the same issue, but disabling MSI Afterburner as stated on the support site did the trick for me and now it works.
But i wonder why it was working with the demo, while the full game now crashes with Afterburnber

Thank you very much. forgoth about that even when i had same issue back with FH3 and that was the first thing i tryid but not for FH4 DOOOOH!

Same problem here. FH3 suddenly stopped working as well with the same issue. Trying to download any other app from the store doesn’t help as it did in the past.

Getting the same problem here. Submitted a ticket. Don’t have MSI afterburner.
I was getting 0x05 error too.
ATM game hates MSI Afterburner/RTSS, Netlimiter, and for some weird reason Teamviewer and Tight VNC.
After disabling those (including background services in case of Teamviewer and TVNC), it stopped crashing for me.
Same problem here. Demo launches no problem. Not using MSI Afterburner.
Ticket lodged. Nitro Glitter on the case.
