I have had the same problem since day one. When I try to enter a menu the game crashes. It usually happens on a weekend or when there are a lot of people playing, and I am in a Horizon Life session.
I have to go to Fortune Island to enter the menu and select solo session, then go back to the mainland to do whatever I am doing.
I have had the same problem on that 4k 30fps gaming joke called ‘xbox one x’, and now the pc, I have emailed the tech support team and all I got was ‘try this, try that’, and it could be your hardware, it could be your ext ssd’.
Standard spiel when they don’t know the answer or can’t fix the problem. (I know, I have worked on tech support for PCs).
It is an insult to a player/customers intelligence to keep them in a loop, looking for problems with their hardware, that don’t exist, it’s disgusting, especially when a large percentage of gamers are children.
I used to get a perfect 4k@60 fps with completely maxed settings but now it’s a stuttering mess even if I drop down to 1440p! I’ve tried drivers from 399.24 all the way to the most recent 425.31 and I’ve even done a complete clean reinstall of Windows 10!
Is there something that’s changed recently that I can revert back?
Runs pretty good on my very average pc on medium settings
Almost perfect on my xbone X and xbone S
The occasional crash but i get that in all games
A proper restart at least once a week and usually no issues
Not sure what you mean by this - it runs flawlessly in both performance and visuals mode. Aside from the minor texture pop in annoyance and frame hiccups/screen tearing which I experienced only ONCE in 60fps mode (going up castle road turning my car around with the entire castle behind me to take in a view of Edinburg city), it has run flawlessly for me on One-X. Even the occassional rev-hanging I can live with.
what issues have you faced exactly while playing it on one-x?
Judging by all the replies that are about the game not crashing and working well, that you are all giving eachother the thumbs up to, I would say there is a large amount of bias away from negative posts like mine. I would expect no less from microsoft and its affiliates. If there is nobody that can suggest an intelligent fix here, then what is the point of this forum?
If someone says the game is broken, and then I read it and think, I have none of these issues, should I just ignore the post? Or possibly point out that saying the game is broken, as a blanket statement, simply isn’t true, because I’ve not experienced it.
There’s typically at least two sides to a story. On a multiplatform game that relies a lot on internet, there’s even more than that.
Thanks noobs, I have been running Forza games since 2010. Looks like most of these contradictory new accounts have been made recently to negate comments like mine about the poor performance of Forza. I don’t need community support from forzafaithful that have only being playing these games for 5 minutes. But thank you for your comments.

if you had any clue you know that this forum shows everyone except yourself as tier 4 and joined 2019, it shows you as that also for everyone else too

Only 2010 , most of us are tier 13 and been playing Forza since FM1or FM2 so about 2005…
Maybe learn how to look after your console better and do proper restarts after updates

Where do you install the game …internal or external
I have never had any issues running the game on my OneX console of my last 2 PC’s. But since I am a newb and only have just under 2100 posts on this forum, I will be quiet.
