The first 2 weeks I had the game it ran fine. I have AMD Ryzen 5 processor, Radeon 570, 8gb DDR4, game is installed on a samsung SSD. I would play the game on 1440p medium settings and the game would be perfectly smooth. Then one day I log in and the game just freezes for like 10 seconds, then from then on the game runs at about 10fps and freezes repeatedly and is totally unplayable. I turned the resolution down to 1080p and went to the lowest graphics settings and got the same problem. I opened up task manager to monitor everything and when the game isnt glitching out and freezing the CPU, GPU, RAM, and Disk are running at about 85%. Then when I monitor it and it starts bugging out the CPU and RAM are spiking to 100%. So im not sure why I get this problem even when im at settings so low that my computer should be able to run the game at like 200fps. Ive seen a few posts with people having the same problem I would very much appreciate it if someone could look into this for me. Thanks.
Can you submit a support ticket?
My game gets a little laggy if I drive a lot of cars…like 10 different cars in one sitting. Probably just memory management in my 1st-gen Core i7 or Ti 1090 video board. Either way, re-starting the game solves the problem.
mine does the same thing…sucks. Yesterday I bought a car at auction when I hit claim car everything stopped for 15 seconds, car never went into my garage and everything went really slow after that. Still slow and clunky today, disappointing at the least.
I am not sure that Radeon 570 has enough processing power. I am using Passmark benchmarks as my reference since I’ve been using nVidia for a few years.
With my 1090ti (4GB), I run the video settings on High/Dynamic/1920 resolution. On Ultra, it is not nearly as smooth and the load times are all noticeably longer. From what I can tell, the Radeon is about $150? The nVidia was about $250 (last year) and I was amazed at the video quality and speed.
