So if your demo can’t even run on many different people’s computers, then you are doing something wrong.
I can’t launch the game without the error stating my GPU drivers are out of date, even though they aren’t. And on top of that unless current demo version is 1.187.963.2, Windows isn’t showing any updates for the game.
I don’t know what the devs over on the team are thinking but this is atrocious. Like they push a update for Nvidia cards but completely ignore AMD GPUs? When everyone I’ve seen who has the error code FH301 is running a AMD GPU. So what’s that about?

A friend brought this up, but I get the feeling that the PC version of their games are outsourced. Would explain why the game’s stability quality is total trash. Good way to lose customer trust though. If you can’t even get a demo to run, then that’s how you lose customers.
Just ignore the driver warning. It wants the new H4 game ready drivers (or whatever AMD has for updated drivers) but mine ran just fine using older drivers (actually it ran better).
Problem is that ignoring the error doesn’t prevent the game from crashing. If anything the driver warning probably is correlated to the hard crash many AMD users are getting. Just google the error and you’ll easily find plenty of people saying that the game is hard crashing with the error. And at this time I’ve only see AMD users suffering from this problem.

So again, why is this market as “Answered”? Unless “Answered” is not the same as “Resolved”, which if that’s the case then fair enough. Otherwise this is far from Resolved.
Love how the devs can’t even fix the problems with Motorsport 7 before they release a whole new game with the same problems… I’m sittin here laughin my ass off at these complaints because Motorsport 7’s forums are EXACTLY the same way, and have been since the game released, but still a broken and often an unplayable game. Why do you think he’s trolling? He’s voicing his frustration with the lack of stability from the Forza games, which I share that sentiment. I’ve never played the Motorsports games, but I do own Horizon 3 on PC and that games does have the same problems as the Horizon 4 demo.

Considering the fact that the same type of crash was happening with Horizons 3 for me (not the error but the hard crash of the game), I’d believe the fact that they aren’t actually fixing or resolving any of these major bugs and issues. It really does speak wonders about a companies integrity when their games (even the demo’s) keep having the same problem over and over again with no one actually fixing them. After all, time is money and if time is wasted on QA and game stability it seems in the case of the Forza Team that means money is wasted.
On a side note, why is the forums keep telling me when I try to post something that my account “Under Account Moderation”? It’s really frustrating when I am trying to find a answer that I have to wait for a moderator to approve each and every post I try to make. I mean not all mods are online when I am, and it’s unreasonable to expect that. So how is it any more reasonable to expect a user to wait for mod to approve each and every post (because up to this point every post I’ve tried to make has had to be “approved”) when they are trying to seek help for a problem like this demo crashing?
How do I get my account removed from being constantly moderated?
They probably don’t have a solution yet, and I wouldn’t set my hope to high on them even working on it. By setting a thread to “ANSWERED” they are just giving you something to wait on. The more you wait, the closer you get to the refund policy’s time limit.
Here’s the thing. I have yet to buy the full game, and with this very basic of a problem still being unresolved I probably will never buy the full game ever. Unless it’s incredibly discounted, even then I am uncertain.
This problem is with the games DEMO, not the full game. I just…cannot believe this is something that is a problem in the games demo, and still has yet to (as far as I can find) be resolved and fixed. God knows I’d end up wasting money and time on the full game if this problem is still very much evident in it.
