[ANSWERED] FH4 luanch CRASH

hi I have a problem with Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition.
the problem is that when I launch FH4 it will load the cinematic. the one were it says TURN 10 STUDIOS and then it says MICRSOFT STUDIOS but right after the game gets past the Microsoft Studios it freezes and it crashes (the game just closes). its been like this for a few months now. I used to be able to play it from the early release date till about December 2018 and it used to work really well (btw its now February 28 2019 and I’ve been waiting for a fix but its just not getting fixed). the cinematic is getting further, it only used to get to the splash page but know it usually finishes the cinematic and then closes. I don’t think there’s a problem with my graphics card since I am running a ROG gaming laptop, and it has a pretty good graphics card. I’ve also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the full game but it hasn’t worked.
I also tried contacting Xbox support but they sent me to windows support and they sent me to Xbox support and it was endless loop. Xbox support had said that since I am on a computer (laptop) they cant help me, they said they could only help if I was on an Xbox which is ironic because they made Xbox play anywhere so you would assume they would help you if your on a pc. I also tried to look for Forza Horizon 4 support, but apparently that doesn’t exist, then I found this forum.
If someone could please help me I would really appreciate it.
PS: I’m pretty mad about this considering I spent $140+CAD ON A GAME THAT DOESNT EVEN WORK!!!

  1. Make sure ALL Drivers are up-to-date and compatible with FH4 (been seeing a lot of people running an older build of Windows or Nvidia Drivers needing to be rolled back)

  2. Turn Off ALL overlays and background programs

  3. Reset the App by: Windows>Settings>Applications>FH4>Advanced Options>Reset

  4. If none of that works, Re-install the Game

Once all of that has that been attempted and confirmed, please Submit a support ticket at https://support.forzamotorsport.net

Be sure to provide as much information with the ticket as you can including a DXDiag file, Event logs and screenshots or video of the issue, including the state the PC is in at the time.
