Am I the only one who rages?

Literally threw my controller across my living trying to beat the stupid Bowler bucket list challenge. I know it’s “just a game” but it take it seriously.

I did finally beat it, but geez. 30 mins of my life wasted for a damn achievement.

I’ve broken 3 controllers before I finally decided to stop playing COD lol.

You need to get help.

I may swear at my tv and the game but objects remain in their rightful place lol.

PS I assume you have done the Lancia challenge.

I’ve done all of them. The Bowler and the Lotus Exige just came with tons of colorful language lol. The Lancia one took a few tries, but nothing like the others. I kept missing the Lotus one by 1 or 2 mph. I think I only beat it cause I got lucky with the traffic cars on my winning run.

oh my gosh! the lancia challenge was soooo hard! but i had a lot of fun with it though, i had a bunch of friends over, and we just kept passing the controller around after every try…
took the combined ability of 5 dudes 56 tries to beat the damn thing! lol!

I watched a youtube video on the bowler challenge to figure out the route. Then cleared it with .1 left on the clock.

I have thrown the controller but I jump up off the couch and spike the controller back into the couch… safe soft landing place

I haven’'t chucked a controller since PS2. I’m much more laid back nowdays.

I have quit roadtrips early though. A guy can only eat so much Wrecker Stew (with extra lag) in one sitting, ya know?

EDIT: The Lancia bucket is one of the trickiest things I’ve done in a videogame, full stop.

Don’t even get me started on the trolls playing online. Those races make me want to do this to people in real life.

NWS for language

Lots of bad language and raging from me. I got lucky with the Lotus, got that first time. The Bowler I left to do last as I’d heard it was very hard and got it on my 3rd go. But that Lancia from the ruins… AAARRRGGHH! I lost track of the amount of attempts that one took me to get. Think that’s why I got the Bowler so quick as I did it immediately after spending an hour crashing a Lancia into trees, so I guess I’d got my eye in lol.

I tend to get a bit rage-y doing Rivals, desperately trying to knock those tenths off my times. So frustrating, but strangely addictive.

I feel I may be responsible for a couple of those rages, but we make each other faster, that’s for sure! B)

*that’s a smiley with shades, btw

Lol, yes you are. I feel a great sense of achievement when I manage to best one of your times, even though I know you’re just going to come back and blow my time away again afterwards. You always seem to creep away on the straights, which I’m guessing is probably not helped by my sheer inability to master manual with clutch. I tip my hat to you. On the plus side, I’ve banked a whole heap of CR & XP chasing your ghost round and round and round, and I know for a fact that you’re making me faster, which is awesome.

Likewise Ma’am, your ghosts made me filthy-rich LOL

None of the Bucket List challenges are hard. If you’re having a hard time beating them, be glad, you’re learning to be a better driver (at least in Forza). Horizon may look like a big, dumb arcade game, but driving the right way pays off regardless.

I failed in the bowler and the lancia challenges for half a second both but I keep calm I have just one controller .

I managed to beat the bowler challenge in one go. And I’m not the best driver. But tried the lancia challenge 5 or 6 times until I got it. That was a real hard one.

But the last time I raged real hard a PSP got sold to gamestop

The Bowler wasn’t hard, it was a one time challenge for me. If you follow the GPS set path it’s nearly impossible to finish on time though, you just have to beeline it for the finish.

I got the Bowler fairly easy but the Lancia is on the verge of impossible. That’s why I am here looking for tips lol

Apparently rage-quitting and having a lot of friends and/or breaking stuff helps to do it :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously; switch to hood-cam, follow the green GPS-line through the forest, don’t throttle while steering in the forest (car might go sideways). Once you clear the forest, pause the game, switch camera if needed and just floor it. Cut the corner 700 yards from here to the right, avoid 3 or 4 cars and make it to the finish.

Danm that bucket bowler was easy,

To be honest I can get angry a lot, but I just yell, I never damage/break things. I have to say of all 30 Bucket Lists the 3 Hardest ones for me were the Bowler, Exige and Delta S4. ESPECIALLY THAT FREAKING BOWLER!!
