Nice mix of cars, some super/hyper cars, some normal-ish cars, some euro-classics, some musclecars, a few trucks, even a hippie van. Seems pretty well-rounded to me! Sure, I’ve got my wishlist, but I’m not gonna bother- who cares anyway? (COUGH59CADILLAC)
Why all the vitriol, boys and girls? If there’s a car you don’t like, fine. DON’T DRIVE IT!!! The “I hate car ‘X’, ergo NO-ONE can have one” argument is one of the most selfish to appear in these forums, IMHO, so cut it out y’all, we’re a better community than that! I don’t like every car on the list, but there are more than a few I’m gonna drive the wheels off of, so bring it on!
No offence Hogger, but I started this thread as a discussion of the car list, not for people to turn it into a wishlist. The difference is subtle, but it’s there.
I think the list may have a lot of repeats, but I still look forward to driving lots of them. There are several new releases I have eagerly awaited and cannot wait to drive.
What I want to know is of there is an open top car I can fill with ice and water, and flip over in mid air to dump all over the SatNiteEduardo pedestrian - or his drivatar’s open top car???
Just kidding of course.
Honestly I think the car list is very well balanced at the moment, even compared to the first Horizon. Sure, there’s a few more cars that I would personally like to see, but I think the current list shows that Turn 10/ Playground really did listen to the feedback on the previous game’s car list- this really seems more like the lineup you’d see at a car/music festival, not just a Gumball rally.
i’d rock it, its a good car list, but it seems like its the same list game after game… i’m still waiting for the dodge’s to get a shot in the arm… love to see the charger,a nd challenger hellcat in here, and would like to see the potential of the 2013+ dodge dart with the 1.4L turbo
I would. But then again, I think I’m only person complaining about the Kia Cee’d not being drivable.
I don’t think there’s any car I wouldn’t want in the game. Other than the Chevrolet Volt. And the Toyota Prius. And the Nissan Leaf. But apart from those, I want all of them.
Yeah, the car list is looking pretty good thus far. Plenty of variety, some oddball vehicles for fun. A good mix.
I also don’t understand the i hate car x so nobody should have it mentality. Some seriously selfish people on these boards but the there always has been. People repeatedly saying drop feature x because they personally don’t use it. Morons.
If you compare it to other open world games then its already ahead, and also in graphics, some people think “Forza” and automatically assume it has to have like 500 cars or something since they think its somehow same as the motorsport division or easy to make. Watch when the game comes out i guarantee there’ll be at least one thread complaining there arent enough cars. Its a more diverse mix than FH1 and im glad there’s more muscle :), either way im not enticed by other games so ill be looking very much forward to this release
Quality over quantity wins for me hands down!!
200 finely chosen cars is always a better option for me over the GT theory of having over 1000 cars where half of them are the same thing with a different badge. While I’m not a skyline nut, but do appreciate them for what they are, do you really need every model in a game? The Turn 10/Playground theory of picking just the ‘better’ ones works well.
Just wish we didn’t have to wait until the 2nd October here in Aus, I want the game now!!!
