Started forza up on a buddies xbox and was greeted with a message asking which save to use… the latest local file (older) or from the cloud (Newest). Not thinking I chose the local older file. Upon starting it up I noticed that the game had reset. I thought no big deal, when I get home it should be fine. I get home, the game syncs up and I’m at the very beginning again. I then confirm to see if my local save file is still there and it is. So I turn off the network, and try to load it up offline to see if it will load the local save file and it loads from the beginning point where I left off. Is it safe to say that my cloud save has been overwritten, and the local save file despite being 18.9mb has also been overwritten?

Very bummed out right now.

yes, no point in trying to contact turn 10 or microsoft i tried it fo a week but in the end i just moved on and started again from lvl 1

yip its happened to me tonight!!

xbox day one owner with 240hrs spent on Forza 5, If i can’t get it back then I’m going to unbox the ps4 and give it a bash, see what project cars is like when it comes out.

Is there a way you can copy someone elses game save? It wont be as good as having your own game, but at least you’ll get your driver level and credits back…

Sorry apparantly u cant copy some1 else game, or at least not that i know of…sadly the days of gamesaves and memory cards are over i guess.
