I highly doubt any crazy vehicles will be in any game. And, I think the thing between Forza and Hot Wheels is just a sponsorship for the July car pack.
I remember in a Top Gear episode, they had a race on the Top Gear Test Track with utility vehicles from a typical airport. Small fire engine, something with steps on it that you drive (lol sorry have no idea what its called), a ‘luggage train’ amongst others. It was quite funny
So see, you can race just about anything!
I don’t think the main argument is that the suggested vehicles can’t race; if it moves it can be raced, for sure. What is, however, the underlying point: should these vehicles (monster trucks, limos, fire trucks, etc.) be researched, modeled and integrated into the game before any other vehicle in automotive history? Before vehicles that carry significant racing heritage? Or even before those which are simply more feasible to race than these “crazy vehicles”?
As much as I would like to see these’ crazy vehicles ', I know there are higher priority needs for the game. I won’t argue that.
I don’t think a limo with lowered suspension would make it over the corkscrew turn at Mazda Laguna Seca, it might get hung up with all 4 wheel off the ground lol
I would prefer no crazy vehicles be added and instead Turn 10 add some modern race cars.
You said after all the game is about driving and having fun, but I would say the game is about competitive racing and motorsports. (or at least that is what I want the game to be about) …Turn 10 says the game is about turning gamers into car lovers and turning car lovers into gamers.
Exactly. Additionally, I question what a fire truck or limousine in Forza Motorsport does for me in terms of learning? I’m going to guess absolutely nothing.
You want those crazy cars? Go play Motorstorm on PS. Want Hot Wheels cars? Go play their racing game on Nintendo 64. Just keep them off of Forza Motorsport. I also suggest the mods close this ridiculous thread as it is turning into a wishlist… a very bad one.
