Acura NSX 2017 - engine performance

(Personal) I own a 2004 Acura tl base auto. I tried playing the factory spec 17 NSX in FH5 and to me, its lacking the punch and hp feel from a DOHC. Imo It acts more like a SOHC with a turbo, but it does have the shift points of a DOHC. I enjoy the car, it feels natural when it comes to grip (haven’t owned one) but misses the punch from 4200 rpm to 4500 range (in between v-tec). The j-seires engine imo, is a great example of how v-tec works in a Honda (it being SOHC paired with a 5speed in my case). I noticed the Nsx like to switch between SOHC and DOHC when crusing and doing small freeway pulls. Makes it challenging to predict how it will grip in corners. Fun model tho. And again the Awd feels natural.
