Acura NSX (second generation)
This topic is for all versions of the second generation Acura NSX, including NSX Type S.
This model has been represented in Forza as the
2017 Acura NSX (FH3 through FH5, FM7 and FM2023 at launch)
This is a special limited edition for the NSX, as Honda’s US-luxury brand Acura, had a lot of sales over it across the USA, a brand-new High Performance edition was made.
It produces 602HP from its 3.5 Hybrid V6 engine. 9-speed DCT is retained as its only transmission since 2017. With all that HP, that makes the Type S a performance-oriented NSX for the race track and the road, just like the base car.
Only 300 units were made. And after the last unit of the Type S is produced, that leads to the car’s discontinuation. So sad to hear. In Japan, Europe, and Australia, they were discontinued early around 2020 because of poor sales. 2021 is where the NSX completely retired.
It is considered that the Type S is the Final Edition of the NSX as we say goodbye to it for being a great supercar. It must be added to Forza soon as we have the base car.
