Yep same here. I think you are right that the game save thinks you unlocked it so now it will never unlock. That is, unless Turn 10 decides to fix all these buggy achievements in an update by releasing some sort of code to re-check achievement progression either automatically or manually somehow. It’s too bad that due to the always online nature there is no way to reset progress.

Bug Info:
Freemode with the required track layout and car for the sightseeing achievement, tried it with and without AI drivers.
I think I might know what causes the issue. I unlocked all the other track/car achievements with rented cars and they all tracked, this one I already had the car at level 30 and I’ve tried it many times and it does not track even with rented car.
Platform: Windows PC
Edition: Game Pass + Premium, Add-Ons.
Account: solo account.
PC GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 12 GB VISION (latest drivers)
Peripheral: Xbox Series X Wireless Controller.
Settings: ultra everything, abs & tc Assists.
Attempted fixes: rebooted, my level 33 car and rented car.
Hit 30 cars yesterday and no unlock either

even after update 2 there is so many bugged achievements like rain meister which the tracking of them stucked and does not progress. fix this turn 10!!!

It’s like that with me too, I’ve been playing since launch on GamePass, I deleted the local save and now it doesn’t appear either, I cleared the cache and nothing, I did it in all modes and so far nothing… and besides that, the painting and tuning too. bugged

The same here. This achievement does not unlock on Xbox Series X. I tried every part of the day on Spa and nothing helps…

Same here with Xbox Series S. I have tried in different ways, different cars and even with clean laps. Leisure Cruise Achievement never unlocks itself…
Bug Info: In featured multiplayer, the Safety Superstar achievement will not unlock for me. It gets all the way to 90%, but never fully completes. I have tried this multiple times now and it’s quite frustrating. I made sure that my rank stayed at “S”, didn’t incur any penalties throughout the 10 races I did in a row, and it still won’t unlock.

Same issue here, tried the game through the gamepass version first to see if I’d like it, bought it and none of my achievements are unlocked but I still have my progression.
Got exactly the same issue as Smarti02, the safety superstar achievement progression is stuck at 90% and the achievement does not unlock even after lowering my safety level to A, B, C, releveling to S rank and doing a complete serie of races, I also tried to do the 10 races literally consecutively by using the continue option at the end of each race, and still no achievement…
I started going through all the easy achievements however this one seems stuck I’ve tried it with different vehicles and different different weather conditions but nothing.
What is your language version od the game? Maybe language (region) is the answer? I don’t know…

Content Update: Was this happening prior to the most recent content update, now using the latest update
I have 38 cars at level 50 but the achievement for having 10 hasn’t popped. There’s a similar achievement for having 30 cars and that popped when i got my 31st car so there must be an issue with the achievement tracker. Keen to know if there’s agoing to be a fix for this. I already have submitted a support ticket for this 513380
This happened to me today with Honda, the achievement unlocked but I only have the touring car at level 50. Now I can’t buy anymore Hondas.
