Ability To Play Own MP3 Files Via USB

One feature sorely missing from modern games is the ability to play your own music in-game. Gran Turismo 5 on the PS3 had this feature, as did games like PES 2014, where you could even set different music tracks to play in menus! Even the original Xbox had the ability to play our own music in-game for games like Project Gotham Racing and Tony Hawk 3.

With games like Forza Horizon 4/5 having long lifespans, the limited music gets a bit stale after a while. The same few tracks round and round… Two or three years in, it gets somewhat monotonous. Previous Forza Horizon games briefly had the option to stream music via an online service that nobody actually used, but that required having a stable internet connection. No good for those who wish to play online or who do not have a consistent internet connection.

SUGGESTION:

  1. Allow us to play our own MP3 files via a connected USB drive or thumbstick. Radio DJ’s could still play between songs, but instead of the songs being those on disc, they’re selected at random from the connected USB device.
