A question about Turn 10 Select and how it works?

Now, don’t get me wrong here, most of the designs are fine. The reason I ask though is because some designs that make Turn 10 Select status, well, they’re mediocre at best and don’t involve a lot of actual work, as in creating tricky or detailed decals/pics etc. I look at some really basic designs and wonder how they pick them? I have seen some great designs by people and honestly, some very plain, average designs by the same people, but the design is still a Turn 10 Select.

How do they decide which should be one? Is it actually based on the design or is it the user has qualified for a certain amount to be selected or something? Not trying to moan here, just wondering.

the T10 select is normally from who wins the week livery comps, but you will find some cars will come with paints in select the day they are out, but they are done by T10 staff like little vixen and some others.

also just because i car as a very basic design with a few logos on does not mean it did not take hours to make, if they had to do all the logo work themselves and it may be spot on with the true real life car

A fair few of the T10 select were designs done over every car before the game was released. Whilst they are simple they were there to allow people to run a paint before designs were readily available. Bear in mind the time and effort that would of been put in to do all the cars (200+), even basic designs will of taken many, many hours.
