my second paint. found this pic and thought i would attempt it i need better pics to go for the decals on the side for the time being i just used the in game manuf decals i made the ps decals tho. if interested i shared it for now til i get more time to do actual logos just search #52 or my name.

changed the color and did some logo work put the opac light blue line though the middle of front and rear bumper and sides changed stripes. and i have no idea how to break up the circles around the number???it seems so simple but i just dont know how im a noob painter i guess. any help on that and any source pics of the logos on the rocker? i dont even know what they are

Looks good mate, but for the next time I would definitely stay away from the stock logos. Those are a big no-no.

Looks to me like you have wrong shade of blue mate when I look at the source pic nice start though :wink:

Just to help out here are a couple of things.

  • The actual car is far darker blue and is metallic. I would recommend taking the saturation down by 0.15 and darkness to at least 0.60.

  • Your stripes are slightly wrong. They go in the following order: 3 light blue, 2 white, 2 sky blue.

  • If you look at the circles surrounding the number and the French flag you will see the circle is broken, not complete. Again this uses the same light blue and sky blue colours.

  • There is a lighter shade of the main base colour that goes through the middle of the car and down the side of the car.

  • The white block under the “52” number is www.lemans.org and the 24 hours of Le Mans logo. Like this (but will show dates for 2002 Le mans):

Great Paint! The majority of the circle is opposite in colours to what you currently have so I’d swap that first. Then try using the 1/4 circle outline shape for the top bit. you’ll need a few though and just line them up, if it seems too thin then double up on them. They will have to over lap in the middle because it’s noty a full half a circle but because its a circle it shouldn’t be an issue with it looking messy. I wish I had a pic for ya but I’m at work.

… nice ne Dan! another way is using x2 semicircles but skewed left and right to match the circle.
