Haven’t played in a few weeks. Popped my disc in to play and get the pop up disc is unrecognized. Is this a current issue going around? I see a lot of posts and videos about it with the games on demand.
If your disc is scratched then try cleaning it off and seeing if that works. If cleaning the disc doesn’t work delete all your Forza Horizon updates and try it again. If their of those work and your xbox can still read the disc, scroll on top of the game and there should be a button that says options (the x button I think) and then go to install game. Then your xbox reads the game off the downloaded file on the harddrive instead of off the disc.
- have you checked to see if your Xbox will read other discs?
If it reads other discs fine, make sure your Horizon Disc is clean and has no scratches.
If it’s not reading other discs, you can try cleaning the laser disc reader with a cotton swab and just a touch off rubbing alcohol.
I would also recommend clearing your Xbox System Cache
