Mine showed up about 10:30 EST but the cover car achievevent is glitched and won’t unlock for the gifted car you need to buy it for 250,000cr

The odd thing is, I DID get it, but I can’t get the achievement for owning it to register. Nothing I try works. I’m not sure how to get it to recognize that I own it.
Same here. Got the gifted car, but didn’t get the achievement “Cover car” for owning it. Tried restarting the game but no luck.
Got the achievement “One down” for winning a race in free play though.
Edit: Helios, are you reading this? Will the gifted GT work for the “Cover car” cheevo or do we have to buy a dup?
It is because you actually have to buy the car or win it in a spin.
By buying it I assume.
I just learned to the 5mil for 300 cars thing. So I’m planning to delete my save and start again. I’m crossing my fingers that rewards get applied again, and somehow I’ll get gifted the GT again. If not, I’ll cry myself to sleep tonight.
Got the car, but not the achievement…

I played the Demo about a week ago, and of course it said that I would get the car in game.
Fired up the game today, and no Ford GT.
I went back in and replayed the Demo, and got the message again that I would get the car in the full game, and still nothing.
Anyone else having the same issue?
I played demo quite a bit and still have it installed,…no GT for me.
Didn’t show up when first played it so reinstalled the demo, unlocked the car and put the full game back on and it showed up straight away after doing that
I got one, played it on the 3rd erased it before downloading 6 I downloaded on the 9th
I got my ford gt but it didn’t make the achievement pop, ill have to check it out tomorrow since I work all night lol

I bought an extra GT and got the achievement. I never got it for getting the gifted one. shrugs. On the plus side, I found a very cool design for the extra and kept the gift as is.
Yeah car but no achieve, figure I’ll just buy another, only a shame I already spent my 10M credits from FM5/FH2 car collections, mainly on mods lol. Still haven’t found the “manual transmission” dare for that achievement. Only the “manual with clutch” one. Cool system with the rares and super rares, but so many credits!
To start this email…I have bought all 6 forza motorsports games plus both horizon games plus many expansions etc. I am a forza fan fanatic lol. Your game tends to land right at my birthday which is the 12th of September. I always talk my wife into buying me your latest forza game if available. This year I talked her into buying me the ultimate edition so I could play early. Great idea by the way! I also decided to end the month to month gold and bought a 12 month card on the 4th. I purchased the game on the 4th as well. I was anxious to play this morning. So after everything was installed updated etc. I went into forza hub and got my $200,000 for buying the game and I fired the game up and drove the first car. 2017 Ford GT… Loved it! I kept playing and received several free cars for pre purchasing and for being a loyal fan. Nice touch! Needless to say… After I got 50,000 or so more I decided to buy the 2017 Ford gt for $250,000. Didn’t even think twice about the purchase. Later this afternoon I’m online checking my bank and find that Microsoft took another $10.69 out for this month today. I called and got that taken care of and refunded. She had to cancel my gold and give me another 12 month gold. Mine was good until the 15th. Since she had to cancel to refund my money i lost five days of live at this point for whatever reason. Anyways…Before getting off the phone with Microsoft. She asks if there is anything else she can help me with. I had just used the new 12 month code and was looking at the screen. What do I see on the home screen? I see that it says “Play the demo of forza 6 and then pre-purchase the full game and get the 2017 Ford GT free”. So I tell her yes and after about 20 minutes we figure out that she can’t help me. I can sell my gt for $125,000 but not sure if I would get another one for free now. I would have used the quarter million on upgrades or another car class etc if I had gotten it for free she feels my pain and tells me to reach out to you guys for answers. Maybe you could tell me if I’m up sh*t creek or maybe I could get $250,000 gift in game credits or maybe I can sell mine to recoup half my money back and then get the Ford gt for free. Just looking for any suggestions. Oh, by the way… Love the rain effects. Best in game so far by a long shot! Haven’t tried a night race in the rain but hoping fog is in there as well. Would be cool. Maybe ice and snow later with some metal studded snow tire options that throw sparks!

My gift messages is still empty. Only my tier rewards have come through, nothing else from the ultimate edition, pre-ordering bonuses, etc has yet.
The GT is being sent out in waves apparently, if you played the demo you will receive your gift car at some point in the (hopefully) immediate future.

As for the $250,000, I’d say you’re probably out half of that unfortunately. I wouldn’t worry about actually receiving it though, the dashboard message/demo ad is still there for me and I’ve already received mine.
Mine eventually came a couple hours after I started playing, so keep an eye out.
Have been playing for a few hours now. My GT is not there yet… neither are my tier rewards. According to the hub, I should have received a lot of creds… but I got nothing so far. Well, I’ll just keep playing and hope that T10 will eventually fix it.
