Hey y’all, it’s that time of the year again for NASCAR to come to Darlington Raceway for the annual Southern 500 and it’s now traditional throwback theme. Despite Hurricane/Tropical Storm Hermine causing problems for the region with lots of nonstop rain (which forced NASCAR to cancel the qualifying session and go by points), the weather for the rest of the weekend was perfect, especially Sunday with low 80 temps, very few clouds in the sky, and the sun shining all day long. And just like last year, here are some pics and videos (that I posted on my YouTube channel) of the event from my POV in Pearson Tower.
