I for one love the new Mustang.
The new Mustang looks terrible anyways. Camaro and Challenger are the only ones who have stayed true to their design while implementing some modern applications in.

I don’t understand where all of the “it hasn’t stayed true to its design” has come from. Arguably, it’s more of a Mustang then the S197. You have that great fastback shape, tri bar taillights, the three gills up front (Which are day time running lights), long hood, short deck, etc. I’m not forcing anyone to like it, but to say it doesn’t look like a Mustang is kind of out there…

It just looks so disproportionate to me in the back. It looks like it has a stick up it’s butt. Almost as though they designed a modern Mustang and then added a few older Mustang like touches and it looks so ugly. Especially in real life. I didn’t mind it too much in the pictures, but after seeing it in reality I was like “no thanks.” Most cars, the picture doesn’t do the cars justice but in this case it’s the opposite IMO.
I will always be a GM fan anyways. I have always felt like they make the better product and Dodge used to be right up there until they got purchased by Fiat.
Okay, I see what you are saying about the fastback, I commend them for that but they toasterized the front. That’s all dandy but look at these.

Those both look very cool, but they can’t have the same look forever. It’ll get boring eventually. They have to evolve. 79-04 Mustang’s didn’t exactly look like the ones from the 60’s, and those sold incredibly well.

I could really care less whether or not Forza gets the 2015 Mustang. While the back looks nice and refreshed, the rest just does nothing for me, not to mention I’m not much of a Mustang lover to begin with.
Amen, Spartan. I’ve heard enough of these “they changed it, now it’s bad” whines on the new 'Stang. The Camaro looks like a Hot Wheels car and has the visibility of a tank, the Challenger looks bloated as heck in real life and has horrible performance compared to its fellow “muscle cars”. People really do forget that the Mustang didn’t always look like it did in '64, and that those looks aren’t even some paradigm of automotive design either. The fact of the matter is, “muscle cars” are sports cars nowadays, and the formula of putting a big engine in a normal car will probably never be done by Americans again. I applaud the new Mustang for looking a little more like a sports car and less like some amalgam of cars it’s not.
On topic; I hope Forza gets it as well.
I dissaprove of the Mustang for trying to become a European Toaster, I enjoy the Camaro for it’s zippyness and I applaud the Challenger for it’s Bravado and stance, not to mention that they really don’t perform as poorly as you’r insinuating and actually seeing a Challenger in real life will show you that they are not bloated.
I like the new look. I was a bit worried that it wouldn’t look aggressive enough with the more corporate Ford design. Looks like I was worried about nothing.
As for the car in Forza… It will happen. So what if it’s in Project Cars, or even a NFS title? Forza is going to get it. That’s almost guaranteed.
