2 strange things I noticed

As I was playing just now, I have noticed 2 strange things:

1. I was unable to collect my restored barn finds while I was at the Blizzard Mountain (only the SUV I picked there worked).
   After I had traveled to main location, they worked fine.

2. Sometimes at the beginning of a convoy race a DJ announces a skill song but it does not work during the race.

I also noticed #1 yesterday but the other way round
I couldnt collect the blizzard mountain barn find while in the main game
