2-Player Free Play?

I’m curious as to why there’s no option to select a wet or night track when playing in 2-Player split-screen Free Play. Or even to race against AI like other racing games. Forza seems more geared towards the single player experience than it used to be. I suppose the lack of wet or night tracks in split-screen might be due to hardware acceleration although i don’t see this being too big an issue in split-screen.

I’m talking about two player split screen. No night racing at Daytona, Le Mans or Virginia, etc. No wet racing on Virginia, Brands Hatch, Sebring, etc. There’s only daytime layouts available.

Probably an issue with rendering the rain twice on the same screen. Just a best guess and doesn’t explain the lack of night tracks…
